each. With each bid placed, an item’s price increases by $0.01. If
there is less than 15 seconds left in the auction, a new bid resets the
counter back to 15 seconds to give someone else a chance to bid. An
auction ends when there are no further bids and the counter reaches
zero.
Here's how it works:
The concept is simple. Be the last bidder on a product when the clock strikes 0:00 and you win the item at that price.
1. Buy bids
Bids are $0.80 each, or cheaper if you buy in bulk. You automatically get one free bid for signing up.
2. Start Bidding!
Browse the products and start bidding on what you want. The price of an item will increase by $0.01 with each bid.
3. Watch the Time
If there are less than 15 seconds left in the auction, a new bid resets
the counter back to 15 seconds to give someone else a chance to bid.
4. Be the Last Bidder
Keep bidding to stay on top of other bidders. If you are the last bidder
when the clock strikes 0:00, you get the product at the final bid price
plus shipping.

How do I activate Bid Pal?
To activate Bid Pal, click on the auction you want to participate in. On the right hand
side of the screen, you can set bid parameters for Bid Pal to follow. You’ll see fields for
Minimum Price, Maximum Price, and Bids explained below.
- Minimum Price: This is the point of the auction at which you would like Bid Pal
to start placing bids for you. If you enter $2.00 as your minimum price, Bid Pal
will start placing bids at the $2.00 mark.
- Maximum Price: This is the highest point at which you want Bid Pal to bid, and
no further.
- Bids: This is the maximum number of bids you would like Bid Pal to
place for you between the minimum and maximum price points you set.
Once you set the parameters, Bid Pal will place bids when the auction reaches YOUR
Minimum Price. Bids will be placed at a random time between 5 and 10 seconds
remaining, and will continue to place bids until it reaches your Maximum Price, until
you’ve run out of bids or until you have won the auction.
Note: In the Minimum and Maximum Price fields, Price refers to the point at which you
want Bid Pal to start and stop placing bids, not the amount that you would like to spend
on the item.
