My 1st Trip to Sears Outlet in Baltimore, MD

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 1:15 PM 14 comments

The first thing I noticed in the parking lot was they were busy!  They were having a sale on Lawn Mowers in the parking lot, selling hot dogs with the Boy Scouts and had a truck selling  BBQ.  I went inside the store and asked the first employee if I could speak with Michael Kipperman (the manager).  He told me Mr. Kipperman was outside, so I went back outside and there he was serving up hot dogs.  I introduced myself and he replaced himself at the hot dog grill and took us inside.

Namaste-Handbags With Class

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 10:00 PM 18 comments
Most of you know how handbag crazy I am.  I recently was sent a Lime Colored Laguna from the Cali Collection at Namaste.  It's gorgeous.  They have several colors to choose from and I chose lime for summer.  Some of the other colors were: Black, Charcoal, Eggplant, Hollywood Pink, Olive, Peacock, Red, Saddle, Turquoise and of course the Lime.  It's a beautiful and very classy looking bag.  I have gotten several compliments about it so far.  It's roomy and I am able to fit all of my stuff in it.  I carry a lot of stuff.

I never heard of Namaste until recently and I am so glad I did.  They carry handbags and accessories.    Some of the accessories include wallets, buddy case, mini clutch, mini cozy, cozy, Catalina pouch, Binders, T-shirts, Circular Case, and Oh Snap in the Cali Collection.

Buy More Contacts: Discount Contacts Online

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 2:49 PM 1 comments

A while ago I did a post about outrageous medical costs especially eye wear.  Well I found a website that sells discount contact lenses.  With the prices of eye wear and contacts anymore I feel this website is a real find.  I think you'll feel the same once you compare and discover that the contacts are much cheaper than from an Optometrist.  All you have to do is have prescription from the Optometrist.

BrightFeet Lighted Slippers Review and Giveaway

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 10:24 PM 212 comments
How many times have you got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and stubbed your toe or bang into the doorway?  Too many times for me but I think I might have found something that will help with that.  They are BrightFeet Lighted Slippers.  That's right lighted slippers, and what I mean by that is they have an actual light on the toe of the slipper.  It has a sensor that alerts LED to come on only in the dark.   Very cool right?

The BrightFeet Lighted Slippers are powered by 2 replaceable lithium batteries in each slipper.  Weight sensors alert the LED in each slipper to activate.  Each of the LED is angled for projection of light.  The LED's will illuminate an area of 20 to 25 ft. in front of you. There is a built in timer delay that allows you to see your way back to bed after removing the slipper.

DaysAgo Digital Day Counter Review and Giveaway

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 12:53 AM 57 comments

Are you tired of finding spoiled food in your refrigerator because you have forgotten how long you left it in there?  Or having to throw medicine away because it has expired?  Well I have a suggestion.  I suggest you try DaysAgo Digital Day Counter.  The digital day counter is the newest coolest gadget I have recently come across.

I received a package of 2 digital day counters to review.  I used it on our herb keeper that contained fresh basil that was in the refrigerator so I could see how many days it takes before the herbs go bad.  We used most of the herbs and left some to see how long it took.  It took about 11 days before it started to wilt.

My Almost Nightmare

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 1:06 PM 6 comments
As some of you know I am a breast cancer survivor.  When I was diagnosed the first time I had a mammogram, then an ultrasound, and both times the radiologist come running down the hall to catch me and bring me back into a room to talk to me and explain that he wanted to do an Ultrasound and why and then after the Ultrasound he wanted to let me know that there was something there that needed biopsied.  I had my biopsy done by the nicest radiologist who actually called me @ home from his home in the evening to give me the results.

Happy Mother's Day

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 11:51 PM 1 comments
I just wanted to take a minute and say Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there and I hope you all have a wonderful day with your families.  I lost my mom in 1997 so it's kind of a sad day for me, but I have great kiddos so it makes it a little easier, although they live 7 hours away from me, but they always call :)

Pinch Me-I think I'm Dreaming

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 1:44 PM 5 comments
Last evening I received a phone call from a couple of MommyPR ladies that I NEVER expected to receive.
I was cleaning up after dinner and the phone rang and we are screeners with the caller ID and it came across as someone we didn't recognize and I almost didn't answer it.  Thank God I did.  Well they proceeded to tell me that I was one of the 11 on the Sears Outlet Signature Team.  At first I thought wait who am I talking too?
So I had to ask them to repeat it.  I couldn't believe it!  I think for a few seconds I was kind of in shock.

My husband has always used a straight razor to shave.  Well when he hurt his back it was almost impossible for him shave comfortably.  So I contacted Remington to see if they had any electric razors for review.  At the time they didn't, but I did review a Straightening Iron for them.
