Mayfair Lane Review and Giveaway

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 9:49 AM 316 comments
I was searching around the internet a while ago and came across this website. So I took a stroll down Mayfair Lane and I am glad I did. Mayfair Lane sells stationary, refrigerator magnets, journals, photo frames, and reusable bags and more. Quite a variety of products. They have a product line called Happeez. Happeez products are made up of simple classic gifts that take gift-giving to a whole new level by virtue of their being both uniquely stylish as well as extremely practical. Happeez® products such as the Notepads, Whiteboards, Clippers, Photo Frames and List Pads have a material that sticks to stainless steel, but also glass, mirror, plastic, vinyl, and aluminum. Also Happeez protects surfaces from scratching and marring and leaves no residue. If the product quits sticking due to dust and dirt, just spray the back with water or vinegar based glass cleaner. Mayfair Lane asked me what I would like to review and I really thought a Whiteboard would help me keep track of reviews and giveaways, so that what I got. It's hanging on the wall beside me. It's perfect. I can reach up and write down every new review that comes in, and I can keep track of when reviews end. I love it! The Pen and Brush are connected and stick right on the board. Mayfair Lane wants one of my readers to enjoy their products also because they are offering a $75.00 Gift Basket, they choose the products. All you have to do is visit Mayfair Lane and choose a product you would like to try and tell honestly if you have refrigerator magnets and if so how many.(THIS IS MANDATORY OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED). Just had to share

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 11:22 PM 1 comments
A while ago I did a post about Hunger and ShopRite Partner's in Caring. ShopRite Partners In Caring is a year-round, community-based, hunger-fighting initiative that works with more than 50 food industry manufacturers to provide $2 million annually to qualified charitable agencies in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Well the ShopRite Partners in Sharing sent me something in the mail yesterday. I received a box of Honey Nut Cheerios with pictures of all the bloggers that were involved in the ShopRite Partner's in Sharing. They are very small photos but I found myself on there about 5 different times. It's a box I will cherish forever. ShopRite Partners in Sharing have something else going on now. It's a contest "Expressions of Hunger" It's a video contest. They want you to share thoughts and emotions through music, poetry, performance, art, and story telling. Please submit an original video that depicts how you perceive the plight of the hungry or what a solution to hunger might be in the "Expressions of Hunger" video contest. Remember if you're able, always pay it forward...... DISCLAIMER:

Soak Wash...

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 8:28 PM 1 comments
Soak is modern care for fine fibers. It's a rinse free formulation perfect for soaking the finest of fibers. It was launched in Canada in 2005 inspired by Jacq's Hat, which is an award winning knit accessories company. It immediately bcame successful with everyone from knitters to quilters to fashion conscious shoppers.
You can either hand soak or use soak in the washing machine, including the high efficiency washers. There are no dyes or perfumes, it's biodegradable, phosphate-free, and a non toxic formulation in all Soak products so you can soak baby clothing if you needed too. Also recyclable bottles and water based ink used on the packaging.
It's no rinse, and when you're done soaking, the dirt and detergent comes out in the water, and whatever is left evaporates. You are left with a hint of fragrance after squeezing out the garment but that will dissipate over time, or you can rinse it out.
Soak sent me 5 small packages to try. They sent me the following:
1) Scentless- for your sensitive side
2) Citrus- fresh squeezed clean
3) Aquae- purely elemental
4) Flora- stop and smell the fibers
5) A scent- for celebration
Now you can purchase your own here: You can read more about Soak here:
You can learn how too use Soak here:
Stop and look around and pick up some Soak, your clothes will thank you :)

Vivabox Review

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 10:44 AM 2 comments
I don't know about you but I find it so stressful sometimes when I have to get a gift for someone. Will they like this? Will this fit? Is this their style? Will this color look good? Does she like this flavor? I mean it's sometimes so bad it makes you want to take a Valium before you go shopping. Well I actually came across a site (God I live the internet) that can help with all of that. It's call Vivabox. The best way to describe Vivabox is it is a new product that combines the freedom of choice with the personal touch of a real gift. Vivabox is a 2 layer gift. The first layer is the gift inside that familiarizes the recipient with the product. The 2nd layer is the gift card that can be used to purchase their selection from the menu choice. They have several themes to choose from: Some more expensive than the others. The Movie Experience Spa Massage Spa Beauty Tea Time Gourmet to Your Door Coffee Talk Wine Bar-B-Que L'Occitane Experience NYC Museum Experience NYC Tapas Experience Fun with Photos Photo Art Experience iPod Accessories Men's Magazines Women's Magazines Here are some of the partners working with Vivabox. Vivabox sent me the Women's Magazines Theme Box. It included: 1 each of: National Geographic Real Simple InStyle Cooking Light Health Spa All You and the bottom layer of the box is a serial number for my choice of subscription of one of the magazines for a year.
I am going to love Vivabox and will use it often since I have a lot of difficult people to shop for. Stop by Vivabox and purchase one for your difficult recipient. DISCLAIMER:
