Tumaro's Gourmet Tortillas Review & Giveaway

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 10:06 PM
Since I have been diagnosed with diabetes I have really been careful with my carbohydrate intake.  Sometimes it's hard to find foods that are low enough in carbohydrates for me to eat.  So foods I used to eat I had to give up.  One of my favorites is our homemade Tortillas.  I had to give them up till recently when I found Tumaro's Gourmet Tortillas Low in Carb of course.  I wrote to the company and asked if I could review them to see if I would like them and they were Delicious!!!  We made them with steak strips, Mexican cheese mix, black olives, roasted red peppers, and green onions.  My husband also puts banana peppers on his.  They were unbelievably good!

They have different flavors of Tortillas.  Here are some examples:
Tumaro's Tortillas also have:
Healthy Flour Tortillas-(Honey Wheat, Pesto & Garlic, Chipotle Chile, and more....)
Soy-full Heart Tortillas-(Apple N Cinnamon, 8 Grain N Soy, Wheat, Soy and Flax)
Low in Carbs-( Multigrain, Salsa, Green Onion, and Garden Vegetable)

A little about Tumaro's from the website:
Tumaro’s created the industry’s first flavored tortillas, and we continue to be the best selling gourmet flavored tortillas and wraps in the country. Our flavored tortillas have zero Trans fat, are cholesterol free, kosher, and contain no lard. Tumaro’s products have become known in the food industry not only for pure high quality ingredients and superior nutrition, but also for their taste. And we have prominent awards from the food industry and the media to prove it!
We strive always to find the purest, healthiest, most nutritious ingredients with which to make our Gourmet Tortillas. Almost all of our products are made from 87-89% organic ingredients. All are low in fat and carbohydrates, and many are made from nutritious whole grains. Some carry the prestigious American Heart Association’s heart-check mark.
In addition to offering a distinctive assortment of unique flavors like: JalapeƱo & Cilantro, Rosemary & Olive Oil, and Roasted Red Pepper, we continue to develop healthier, tastier choices for you and your family.
Tumaro’s tortillas and wraps are a wonderful way to serve food creatively and thoughtfully. Try Caesar salad in a whole grain tortilla or a PB&J in an organic honey wheat tortilla...It is creative eating at its best.
