Snapware Review and Giveaway

I found Snapware at the perfect time.  I was looking for something to replace my old Tupperware containers and came across Snapware.  Snapware containers are in my opinion wonderful!  They have various sizes and I really like the idea of the snap on lids.

About Snapware

Snapware was established in 1994, beginning with just one product line—the Airtight Canister. Made from PET plastic, the blow molded food storage containers featured an easy-to-open flip-top lid and silicone gasket which created the airtight closure.

The simplicity and unique utility of the canister would become a hallmark of the Snapware brand and provide a glimpse of what was to come.

The company is privately held with both corporate and manufacturing activities located at our 180,000 square foot facility in Mira Loma, California. We also have 230,000 square feet of distribution space located in nearby Ontario, just minutes from our offices. I received the 14 piece Storage Set, Snap N Stack Large 2 Layer Rectangle Snapware, Household Storage 12" x 6" Adhesive Labeling System.

The 14 piece Storage System contains the following:

(1) 2.8 cups / 22.0 ounces / 0.6 liters
4.25" x 4.25" x 4.75"
(1) 2.0 cups / 16.0 ounces / 0.5 liters
6.55" x 4.25" x 2.50"
(1) 4.7 cups / 37.0 ounces / 1.1 liters

• Dishwasher safe: Place lids in top rack and vessels in bottom rack
• Before first use, remove gasket from lid
• Wash and dry lids, vessels and gaskets thoroughly
• After washing, reassemble by pressing gasket firmly into lid
• Leakproof: not intended to be used upside down or to be submerged under water
• For safety, remove lid before microwaving; cover with paper towel to prevent splatters
• Do not use in ovens, under browning elements or on stovetop
• Avoid sharp utensils- do not cut food in containers; avoid abrasive cleaners & scrub pads
• To prevent staining and blistering, avoid overheating of high-fat foods, sugar, oils and tomato sauces
