Delicae Gourmet Review and Giveaway

Normally we don't do boxed food or dinners.  We enjoy nice home cooking.  Recently I came across a website that had boxed slow cooker dinners.  I was curious so I contacted them and they agreed to a review and giveaway.  It's called Delicae Gourmet.  I was allowed to pick $25.00 worth of food which ended up being 4 boxes of slow cooked dinners.  I chose:  Big Easy Jambalaya, New England Clam Chowder, French Bistro Short Ribs, and good Old Fashioned Pot Roast.

I have to tell you, the first meal we tried was the New England clam Chowder.  It comes with packs of dehydrated vegetables, and a spice pack.  You have to purchase some ingredients yourself.  We had to buy clam juice, cans of clams, half & half, cream of mushroom soup, and vegetable broth to add to it.  Add all the ingredients in the slow cooker, you can either cook for 3-4 hours on high or 6 to 7 hours on low.  We chose to cook it on low.  It was delicious.  Absolutely delicious.  We were going to have it with a sandwich for dinner but it was so filling we decided not to make the sandwiches.  Then we had tried the French Bistro Short Ribs.  The ribs were so good the meat fell right off the bone.
