I recently reviewed the most useful product ever. Everyone should
have one. It's called A Very Special Heart. That's exactly what it
is! It's a heart or globe shape on a necklace or a key chain that
contains all of your very important medical information. Allergies,
medications, illnesses your being treated for, past medical history,
everything that a doctor would need in an emergency.
They come in a heart or globe shape and as a necklace or key chain and silver or gold.
Inside these hearts and globes is a USB chip that allows you to download all your information that is needed in an emergency. You can also keep your whole families information. There is also space inside the heart or globe to keep a couple of pills. Like your heart medication, or maybe a few aspirin. But inside that little heart or globe is all your medical information.
Of course there are people that would need it:
If you live in an area prone to natural disasters, like:
Your Very Special Heart™ and Globe also allows you to carry
copies of all your important documents. In times of emergency – you’ll

My sister in law is (only 38)and has asthma, a heart problem and is allergic to all NSAIDS and many other medicines (at least 20). One time she had a medical issue that left her unconscious. Obviously, she was unable to give the EMT a list of meds she was allergic to; they ALMOST administered a medication that she is DEATHLY allergic to-- fortunately my brother arrived JUST as they were about to administer it! This could have helped avoid situations like that. Her medication list is so long that it cannot fit on a normal medical ID bracelet or necklace. She has to carry it on a regular sized paper in her purse (which tends to get tattered). lockwoodmerrie@yahoo.com

when my father died unexpectedly after a stay in the hospital

My daughter takes very specialized medicine and has a very somewhat rare medical problem. One day we were out and she needed to be rushed to the hospital. I keep a sheet on the refrigerator with her medications and a brief notes on her problems.
I wish I had it when this happened.
Congratulations,

While I haven't previously needed this it would come in handy now because I have had a stroke. I have a brain aneurysm and am on different medications. It would be nice to let doctors know what is going on quickly.

My son went on a trip with his church to Chicago and became very ill. He has special needs and is unable to remember information. Even though I told the people going with him I was still very concerned. He is allergic to all forms of antibiotics, sulfas, everything. I was worried sick the whole time.

I went into a diabetic coma last summer and my husband couldn't remember all my medication allergies and how much medication I was on, so that left the doctor and nurses unsure of my history and what to watch out for. Fortunately, my husband went home and got my meds bottles, but it could have been serious.

Would have come in handy during the blackout three years ago.
This would come in handy because I have severe allergies to medications and if given them I could die. This would alert Emergency personnel.
This would be great for my hubby as he travels for 2 weeks once a year to Costa Rica by himself and just wings it after he gets there.
One time he was fishing at the water and left his backpack up on the beach. Someone came along and stole his backpack which of course has his passport, ID, airline tix and everything else in it.
Thank goodness another person saw it happen and tracked the guy down and got the backpack back. If he hadn't done that, I'm not sure what my hubby would have done without any kind of ID.

My husband takes blood thinners because he has an artificial heart valve. I took him to the emergency room one day because he had a debilitating headache for several days in a row. If I had had all his medical information available electronically, maybe we wouldn't have sat waiting for hours in the emergency room, when it turns out he had a subdural hematoma. It still upsets me a lot to think about it.

I could use this. I have epillepsy. Once I had a seizure at work. While my coworkers new I had epillepsy they didn't know any other medical details about me. If I had a Very Special Heart my coworkers could have just told the Ambulance people to just check the heart for my medical history.

I work at a vet hospital and get bit a couple times a year. When I go to the doctor I always forget when I've had my last tetanus shot (and end up getting another). Plus I am allergic to penicillins, so if by some reason I am knocked unconscious, I don't want to a doctor to give me something which may kill me. Soo...this would be very helpful.

Having recently been diagnosed with diabetes, I think this time is in the future.
I have Type I ("juvenile") diabetes. This would be a tremendous blessing if, God forbid, I had an emergency and was found. EMTs would know that I need insulin and could become hypoglycemic.

This would have come in very handy last summer when I was hospitalized with low potassium. The pain from the potassium IV made it difficult to concentrate on answering health questions. It would have been so nice to have been able to just hand them all the info they needed.
One of my twin boys had a severe and sudden onset of croup two weeks ago. We almost lost him. I of course didn't grab anything of importance besides him when running out the door to the ER. Having this would have been nice as I could have used it to provide necessary information.

This could be a life saver for me. I'm allergic to almost every antibiotic and have low adrenal function; I would need Cortisol in an emergency situation. I should be wearing one of these!
