Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter Review & Giveaway

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 12:44 PM

Tropical Traditions are 2 words you hear around my house a lot anymore.  I started out with Coconut Oil, then Coconut Chips, then Deodorant, and now Tropical Traditions has sent me the Coconut Peanut Butter.  Which was delightful.  I loved it.  One of the really great things about it for me is I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes, and all the good food I used to be able to eat, I can't.  So my snacking has really reduced to fruit or fresh veggies.  Well now with Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter my fruit and veggies aren't so BLAH.  First of all the Coconut Peanut Butter only has 1 carbohydrate, which makes it safe for me to use on my apple slices, and my celery stalks and the taste is better than any ole cookie, or piece of candy.

The Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter consistency is hard, but when you spread it on a nice hot slice of carb free bread you just watch it melt into a nice spread of peanut butter.  Tasty and melted and dripping with flavor!  Now if I am putting on apple slices or celery stalks I don't worry about the harder consistency as it tends to stay put on the apple slice and celery stalk better.

Let's talk about the taste.  Coconut and Peanut Butter, when I chose that one to review, I have to say I was nervous, but my blog is all about trying new and different things.  It has a delicious Organic Peanut Butter Flavor, with that Tropical Coconut Flavor.  It was FANTASTIC!!! and I will definitely be purchasing this in the future.  It's not only the tastiest snack I have had, it's the healthiest.

Also check out the Recipes page on the Website here

Here is the information off of the website about Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter:

Tropical Traditions Organic Coconut Peanut Butter is made from organic peanuts and organic coconut. Two ingredients: nothing else! No fillers, no binders, no sweeteners, and no preservatives. The peanuts are 100% organic Valencia peanuts grown organically by family farmers in New Mexico and Texas. Grown in the dry climate of the southwestern United States, these peanuts are certified organic and free from aflatoxins. The dried coconut is certified organic coconut meat from the Philippines from coconuts that are grown with no fertilizers or pesticides. This premium dried coconut contains no additives or preservatives, and is not sweetened. Unlike most dried coconut on the market, our products are not treated treated with sulfites to keep them white. Together, these premium organic roasted peanuts and the premium organic dried coconut are ground together to make a delicious and nutritious spread!

I love peanut butter tofu (it's kind of like a casserole, if you've never tried it) and adding in the coconut flavor would probably be wonderful. Honestly the first thing would be to eat it with a spoon though. kcarlson1152[at]hotmail[dot]com

I would use Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter to make a Thai style "Satay" sauce to dip thin slices of pork in it. That and a cold beer to compliment the food. Good eating and good drinking.

Hope to win.
