Salamida Review and Giveaway

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 10:29 AM
If you have been following my blog for awhile you would know the Salamida name. I reviewed the Spiedie Sauce from the Rob Salamida Co. You can go here to read that review. Recently Chris from the Rob Salamida Co. contacted me and asked if I would like to do another review with a giveaway this time. I remembered how good the Spiedie Sauce was and was delighted to do another review. This time they sent me the State Fair Mix and Match 6-Pack. It contained the following Marinades and Sauces:

1) The Original Spiedie Sauce
2) Lemon Garlicious
3) Chicken BBQ
4) Teriyaki
5) Rosemary Balsamic
6) Steak House Flat Iron Grill

We marinated Sword Fish in the Lemon Garlicious Sauce for a day. Fried it in a pan and served it for dinner and I have to say it was the BEST tasting Sword Fish I have ever eaten. The Lemon Garlicious gave it such a unique scrumptious taste and the fish was so fresh tasting and just fell apart. Man my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We use the Original Spiedie Sauce on meats all the time. Pork, Steak, Chicken. We Love it. As a matter of fact we are marinading a pork roast in the Spiedie Sauce right now for dinner tonight. YUM We haven't had a chance to try all the marinades/sauces but I did taste all of them and can't wait to try them. They have much more than just the sauces. Here is an idea of what you can purchase there.
We have also had the pleasure of trying the Pinch Spice. We used that on everything from vegetables to pasta to salad to meat. It goes well on everything.

Salamida is offering a special for anyone that uses the Code SAUCE3 to receive 15% off your order. This will last till April 1st. So hurry and get those orders in!

We would love to try the Hunters Pride Jerky Juice Marinade. My son loves beef jerky, and I have yet to blend seasonings where it has a really good flavor, so I hope this will do the trick.

The My Old Flame Steak Sauce sounds great. They mention it is a good 'mix in'-I'd like to try it like that with hamburgers!

The Chicken BBQ sauce sounds yummy - It sounds different than the normal tomato-based sweet, dark sauces. I grew up in Alabama with mayo/vinegar based BBQ Chicken "White Sauce" and this looks like it might be related to that. I would like to put it on my Pulled Chicken sammies!

I would like to try the steak house flat iron marinade. I would definitely try it on my grass fed beef steak and then drop those on the grill. Yum!
