snackTAXI-Food Movers for a Happy Planet

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 11:09 AM
Since we live in these Eco-Friendly times this is the perfect product for anyone that carried their lunch to work or school, or anywhere for that matter. snackTAXIs are a perfect alternative to plastic zip bags, and plastic wrap. "One reusable bag has the potential to eliminate an average of 1000 plastic bags over a lifetime" snackTAXIs can be wiped clean and machined washed due to the fact they are lined with coated nylon. The twice-as-nice napkins are also reversible. HERE IS WHAT THEY OFFER: 1) Bulk Produce/Sacks 2) Lunch Sacks 3) Sandwich Sacks 4) Snack Sacks 5) Twice-as-Nice Napkins Erin Kelly-Dill invented snackTAXIs back in 2003. She figured when all 3 kids would be in school at once they would be packing 500 lunches a year. So then the snackTAXIs were invented. They are made in their home-based work shop by local talented and fun sewers. They are also sold at Retail Locations. They offer fund raising opportunities to schools and other local organizations. snackTAXIs are available to Wholesale Purchasing. snackTAXIs have even been in the news. Also April of 2009 snackTAXIs were advertised on Oprah's Earth Day Show. From the website:

Since 2002

The gang here at snackTAXI would like to wish you a Happy New Year!

To celebrate, we have a 20% off coupon code for you to use through January 31. Simply enter happy2010 at checkout.

The coupon code doesn't apply to specials, but be sure to check them out they're a good deal, too!

Here is what they sent me: The lunch Set (1) sandwich-sacks (1) snack-sacks (1)reusable twice-as-nice napkin The approximate measurements for the snackTAXI products are: snack-sack 6"W x 4.5 sandwich-sack 7.5w" x 6"W lunch-sack 10"W x 11"H w/ a 3" bottom

twice as nice napkin 8" W x 14" L

bulk/produce bag 10"W (20" circumference opening) x 18" L

One thing I did discover about the snackTAXIs sandwich-sacks and snack-sack is that you can actually fit a sandwich in the snack-sack and slide it inside of the sandwich-sack, add the reusable twice-as-nice napkins and also have room for a small plum, or apple, or possible a nutritious snack bar. Which is easier for me. But you can use it anyway you prefer. Erin from snackTAXI is offering one of my readers The Lunch Set. All you have to do and the (MANDATORY) entry is: Visit snackTAXI and choose the pattern you would like to have and return here and comment.(THIS IS MANDATORY AND MUST BE DONE OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED) EXTRA ENTRIES: 1) Follow my Blog 2) Blog about the giveaway and link to snackTaxi and me and return and comment with URL 3) Follow me on Twitter: 4) Tweet the giveaway and return and comment with the URL. 5) Become a fan of snackTaxi on Facebook Giveaway is open to Continental US only Giveaway Ends Jan. 31th Please leave a way for me to contact me in your post, please don't just post you can just find me here (social site) because I will not even look.
