Giveaway Mandatory Rules

I just want to mention a few things before I post anymore giveaways. First I love to post giveaways on my blog. It makes me happy. I also want people to follow the Mandatory rules so they have a chance at winning. I have noticed the last couple giveaways people are not following these rules, and it literally makes me sad if I have to disqualify someone. It can be a pain to enter a blog giveaway, I know but not every entry people think is mandatory is. I will tell you now, if it is a sponsor offered giveaway, you will ALWAYS have to visit the sponsor's website. I also throw in a little extra like tell me a little something about the product you chose, or why you chose it, or something, not only so I learn my readers tastes and get to know them more but so I know you're actually looking at the sponsors site. I feel if the sponsor is kind enough to give away the product for free, a little work to get it shouldn't kill you. All the other extra entries are NOT MANDATORY. Those are usually so the blogger can earn more traffic so they can run better giveaways in the future. A Fortune in Cookies

I love Chinese Food, and I especially love getting that Fortune Cookie that they bring at the end of the meal, or you save till last if it's delivered. Not necessarily to eat, but to get the fortune. I rarely eat the cookie because it doesn't really taste like much. I have always wondered why they couldn't make those taste better. Well, a man named Mike Fry from Fancy Fortune Cookies felt the same way about the taste of Fortune Cookies and did something about it. In 1987 he quit his job as a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus clown and spent his time contacting several Chinese Fortune Cookie companies but it wasn't until the 9th company would someone listen to him. The next 2 years was a "frustrating and expensive learning curve". He invented the first flavors in the Chinese-only industry and those flavors were: Strawberry, Lemon, Blueberry, Orange, and Mint. Since then he has added 12 more flavors. Fancy Fortune Cookies also have chocolate covered Fortune Cookies that they hand dip in white or milk chocolate. They have special shipping instructions that you will find on the Fancy Fortune Cookies website. If you have a special occasion Fancy Fortune Cookies has a special cookie just for that occasion. It's a little over 1 pound and complete with your personalized fortune. It is also chocolate dipped and decorated so special shipping instructions may be found on Fancy Fortune Cookies website. These cookies are so good that even people like Ossie Osborne, Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Joan Rivers, Magic Johnson and more used these cookies for special events. I was so lucky because Fancy Fortune Cookies sent me some cookies to try out for myself. They arrived in a small cardboard box, wrapped in bubble wrap and not one was cracked or broken. I was quite impressed by that as I know the packages get thrown around a lot. It was a beautiful array of colors. I received many delicious flavors: Blueberry Strawberry Orange Coconut Chocolate Cappuccino Mint Fruit Punch They were fantastic. I thought wow someone finally did it. I enjoyed all the flavors, I enjoyed the Blueberry the best. I'm not a big fan of Mint so it wasn't my favorite. My Boyfriend preferred the Coconut. If they sent these cookies with the Chinese food around where I live, I would be ordering delivery every night. Now for the good part. I'm an avid soda drinker, but the prices lately are insane. So I contacted SodaStream about their products. About possibly letting me review a product and to offer a giveaway for my blog. Spotlight on PR

Feels Like Home and Adrienne's are giving blogger's the opportunity to meet Pr rep's and hopefully develop a long lasting relationship with them.

I am a 50 yr. old woman who got into blogging after losing last year to breast cancer and treatment. I started my blog this year and talked about mostly family things and one day a company contacted me and asked if I would like to review their product. I said yes, they sent me a free product, I gave an honest review and we also gave one away to one of my readers. Well I was hooked. I loved reviewing and giveaways. Continued to do some more and the more I did, the more I liked it. I want to get my blog professionally done, that is my goal by the end of the month. I also have ordered a webcam and headset so I can join in on vlogging. I think you can reach your readers more if you can actually talk to them and let them see you.

I live in Maryland with my BF Gary. I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren with one on the way.

Happy Birthday to me :)

Last Friday I turned the big 50. I was really depressed for a few days before thinking "God I'm gonna be 50, I'm so old. Well when Friday came it wasn't so bad. I didn't feel depressed, I woke up thinking I'm so grateful I made it to 50 and the breast cancer didn't stop that from happening and actually felt lucky. Well as some of you know I enter giveaways and on my birthday FedEx left me 2 big boxes and 1 little one. I was so excited. I opened one of the big ones first and laying on top was a paper showing I had won one of the Woman's world magazine giveaways. As I ripped into the box like a kid on Christmas morning I discovered a Sensio Toaster Oven. It was beautiful. The next box which I quickly opened contained a Sensio 12 cup Coffee Maker, and last but not least the little box, which inside was an Electric Milk Frother. The appliances are so pretty, and make the kitchen look nice. It made my day. Happy Birthday to Me :)
