I have been thinking a lot of New Year's Resolutions. In all the past years I didn't really make any, knowing I probably wouldn't have kept them. But this year I am making a few and sticking to it. Maybe it's because God let me survive breast cancer, maybe not.
Anyhow here they are:
Anyhow here they are:
- Loose weight and get in better shape. I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes and my mom was diagnosed a diabetic late in life and started having heart problems in her 50's. I turned 50 this year and I am terribly overweight since my Cancer treatment, (not that I wasn't before) but I had lost about 40 pounds before diagnosis, I guess due to the fact that I had cancer. Then I had to go through Chemo and they gave me high dose steroids before each treatment and I packed on the pounds. It's not only that I am over weight but I am terribly out of shape. So I need to work on that also.
- Find a job: I didn't work all during my treatment and now I am ready to go back to work and very anxious about it, however it's not a very good economy to do that in, so I am DETERMINED.
- Work harder on my blog and really make it more professional and successful. Before now I had a lot of family issues that got in the way but have decided this year I am going to take care of myself also and part of that means working on my blog because it really relaxes me.
I better stop there and not over due it so I can actually keep these resolutions. I am going to check in every week and let you know how they are going. I hope you stop by and read.
So? What are some of your Resolutions? Leave me a comment and we can share.

Wow - go you! Wishing you a HAPPY, HEALTHY and PROFITABLE New Year!
My goals (resolutions) are to make church more a part of my life, compete in a figure contest and hopefully find a SAH job that pays enough to put my child in private school.
I am cheering you on, Ellie! I took a huge break from blogging since going back to work at Target last September but I think I should work on it some more. I miss it.
Hi! I'm visiting from MBC. Great blog.
weight is a big one for me too - but I am hoping to achieve it through positive attitudes to exercise and working on a strong mind.
Your blog is looking good, but I know what you mean...I'd like to go full time at mine if I could.
Best of luck with everything - I'll come by and check you out
Follow you now from MBC :)
