Wrapped in Love-DreamSacks Review & Giveaway

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 1:26 PM
If you are a faithful reader of my blog then you know I have had some issues with hot flashes from early menopause and hot flashes from the Chemotherapy drugs. We have this huge, pretty heavy comforter on the bed, which Gary loves as he gets cold a lot, and I end up throwing off me about 25 times a night. So I had been looking for a lighter blanket for me to use, something that will keep me warm when needed, but cool when needed. Is there such a blanket? I looked and looked and finally came across this website called "Dream Sacks" and started perusing through their products and there it was.....The blanket I had been looking for. The Bamboo Dreams Woven Blanket. So I contacted them to see if they would be interested in allowing me to review the blanket and they very kindly said yes. So I was sent the blanket to keep and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Here is a little info about it from the website: Feel good about what you cozy up close to your body. Enjoy a sumptuously soft woven blanket.

100% Viscose from Bamboo Pesticide free and made from a sustainable and renewable resource.

Box weave.

White, Blue Moon, Green Tea, Maize

Throw (WBRW900) 52”x72” - $75.00 Queen (WBQ900) 94”x98” - $155.00 King (WBK900) 108”x98” - $185.00

Machine wash and dry.

It is so soft and warm, yet cool. It's an unbelievably comfortable snuggle blanket. I am actually sitting here typing all wrapped up in it. I LOVE it!

They also sell Men's, Women's and Babies clothing, Bath Towels, and Accessories like scarves, hats, beach towels, etc. You should definitely visit their site and see for yourself.

You should also visit their Blog if you're interested in "Going Green", lots of tips there.

Please visit their website and click on About Us and the click on Our Story read their truly amazing story.

I love my very comfortable blanket, it's not too hot, not too cool. Just perfect. Gary can get comfy with the the comforter and I have my blanket and everyone sleeps comfortably.

I love the Women's Hooded Pullover - it looks like just the thing for running outside on a cool fall morning.

One green thing we do is keep a compost pile. Our home-grown veggies are going to love us next year!

I SO want to try the Ultra-Fine Wool/Cashmere Throw. I am a blanket fanatic. As for making my home "green," I must admit we're trying to make strides in that direction. For one thing, I've outlawed plastic water bottles in my house. I try to tell everyone to move away from that "convenience" and use a refillable water bottle!!
