00% natural Coconut chips are made from organic dried coconuts from the Philippines. They are also grown without pesticides and fertilizers and are not sweetened, and contain no additives or preservatives. You can use them for many things, there are many recipes they can be used in. There is also a page with coconut recipes.
http://www.freecoconutrecipes.com/
I used them in Trail mix which consisted of:
chex
raisins
pecans
granola
sunflower seeds
pretzels
I also used them in dried fruit which consisted of:
dried banana chips
dried apricots
dried cranberries
dried papaya
dried chunks of pineapple
I actually make two different bowls because I don't really like apricots. We put them on top of cereal, I made a coconut cake and sprinkled the top with them.
But the most interesting thing we do with the coconut chips is throw them in the coffee grinder with chocolate coffee beans and grind it all together and make coffee that tastes like a Mounds Bar. Delicious. It also says you can eat them alone as a snack, but I wasn't real thrilled by that. I preferred mine with something else. But that is my taste.
They also have cleaning products, skin care products, and pet products.
