Aloha! Best Coffee EVER Review & Giveaway

Posted by Ellie-A Little of This and a Little of That at 12:07 PM
I love Coffee. I mostly love flavored coffees. I was surfing around and came across the Coffee Store website www.mauicoffee.com and decided I would contact them to see if they would let me review their coffee and offer a giveaway and they agreed. I impatiently waited for the delivery of the coffee after reading all the testimonials on their website http://www.mauicoffee.com/about_us/index.php?tid=55. Then finally, I heard the truck, peeked out the window and saw Mr. Fedex drop a package at my front door and I knew, I could just smell the delicious coffee through the front door. I opened the door and literally ripped into the package and 3 80z packages of the BEST smelling coffee EVER, fell out. Now we always have a big mug of coffee in the morning and also with dinner and it was about 2 hours before dinner and I was getting so excited trying to decide which coffee I would try first. The flavors I received were (you better sit down for this) Banana Nut Cream(heavenly), Coconut Cream(just like biting into a Coconut Cream pie) and Kona Fancy(unbelievable taste). Two flavored and one not, but the Kona Fancy is a high-end 100% Kona coffee, one of the finest Hawaii has to offer. We tried the Kona Fancy first. It was the most unbelievably rich, roasted coffee taste you will ever experience. My mouth is watering as I type this. My kitchen smelled like a coffee shop. I'm serious, I can't say enough about the Kona Fancy coffee. The next morning we had the Banana Nut coffee and it was amazing. It tasted like you were biting into a piece of Banana Nut Cake or Cheesecake. Then that evening for dinner we had the Coconut Cream (my personal favorite) and it was like taking a piece of Coconut Cream Pie and blending it up in a blender and pouring it in a glass and drinking it. Now for the best part, The Coffee Store is giving 2 of my readers 3 80z bags of the flavored coffee for themselves to enjoy. All you have to do is visit The Coffee Store and choose the kind of coffee you would like to try and also tell me something you learned about The Coffee Store. I didn't realize that there were so many other types of coffee from Hawaii besides Kona and that it was grown on several islands. I remember visiting a Kona coffee plant when I was in Hawaii and the smell was amazing. I would like to try one of the lesser known coffees like the Maui Kula estate.

Oh my gosh, you made my mouth water with your review!! I love coffee too, especially flavored coffee. IF it's done right. Sounds like they are doing it right! :)

I would love to try Kahlua & Cream, Vienna Cinnamon, and Chocolate Macadamia Nut. My mouth is watering again just thinking about them!! :)

Hawaiian coffee is the only coffee grown and produced in the United States. Never thought about it before, but I guess that's right!

Oh, let me add that I don't drink flavored coffee exclusively. That's more of a "treat" for myself. But I love full-flavored coffee when I want a cup of coffee, especially dark french roast. If I win, I'll have to add a couple of bags of "regular" coffee to the order too. :)

I'm with you and usually drink flavored coffees, so I'd like to try the Chocolate Macadamia Nut coffee. I was interested in how they flavor their coffees. The site says..."To flavor our coffees, we use only natural flavorings and real coconut, Macadamia Nut, etc., to enhance our coffees with the delicious tastes of the Islands." Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
