Wanchai Ferry Review and Coupon Giveaway

Recently General Mills and Pssst sent me some sample bags of Wanchai Ferry frozen meals. They let me choose 2 flavors out of the five flavors they have. I chose Shrimp Lo Mein and Spicy Garlic Chicken. We had the Shrimp Lo Mein first. It contains shrimp of course, hence the name Shrimp Lo Mein, and Asian style vegetables like julienne carrots, sweet red peppers and baby cob corn. There is also a serving of lo mein noodles that steam perfectly in your microwave for 2 minutes. It's all pulled together with a delightful, soy, ginger and garlic lo mein sauce. It's a very tasty dish, a little on the sweet side. It's an enjoyable meal for two. Next we had the Spicy Garlic Chicken, which is spicy hot with a hint of sweetness. It has lightly battered chicken breast pieces that remain crispy even after preparation. Included is Asian Style vegetables like water chestnuts, broccoli florets, red peppers and julienne carrots. It's all pulled together with a tasty glaze of sweet roasted garlic and chilies for the right amount of heat that tops Jasmine Rice after it steams in the microwave for about 2 minutes.
